Day 7: Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky.

Much of the same as the other days, bad weather. Had to file IFR flight
plan to get out of LA. Had to change a few of the airports because of
weather. Still managed to make it to KY although we wanted to end up n
WV. There is going to be so many people we have to thank at the end of
this. General aviation has to be the one thing that we do where every
airport we landed at the people go out of their way to be helpful, even
before we tell them our story. It makes us very proud to be part of the
general aviation community. Today we landed in SC right before a big
storm followed us in. The people there opened up their hanger to let us
park inside so our airplane wouldn't be damaged by hail. Inside the
hanger were all multi-million dollar airplanes and now our cherokee six.

In SD, Rick went back to the airport at 2:00AM because he
heard a storm coming in and put our airplane in his hanger. In PA I was
hungry and the guys went into town to get me a burger, and it goes on
and on and on. It will take us days to write down all the people we have
to thank. Hope to make it home tomorrow if the weather holds out.
