Day 2: Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, and South Dakota

I didn't mention yesterday that the airport at MI gave us a vehicle to
use to get into town for the night. The trouble came in the morning when
we wasted about 20 minutes trying to find the airport. Then I (Bill)
managed to tip over the cooler in the back of the airplane and spill
water all over. A heck of a way to start the day but the rest of the day
went well. We had good weather throughout the trip. We had a bit of a
headwind for most of the trip until the end but still ended up in our
destination at a good time. The only other "burp" in our plan was when
we went to land at Sioux City airport in NE and it was closed for runway
repairs. We were able to re-route to another airport nearby and continue
on route. Suprised to see the severe flooding in NE & SD saw many
flooded roads from the air. We got into our stop for the night at Pierre
SD, they have CASINOS in car washes here!!!
