Final Day Details

Ralph and William Capuano of Torrington, CT completed "THE FLIGHT OF AMERICA". Their successful goal was to fly and land at all forty-eight states in seven to ten days. They accomplished the fete in 7 1/2 days. Both are instrument rated pilots. Their plane is a 300 horsepower Cherokee "SIX" equipped with instrument landing systems weather radar, dual GPS, and back up navigation. The best part is their main goal which is to help the daughter of Ralph's Sales Manager, Gary Jones.

A Parent's Plea!

On Tuesday March 6, 2001 our daughter Darlene Clarke was diagnosed with ACUTE MYELOGENOUS LEUKEMIA. She entered Hartford Hospital on Friday March 9th and began chemotherapy that day. Her first stay was for three weeks with many to follow. In the weeks to come she will need a bone marrow transplant and years on continuing care. Darlene is the mother of two young children ages 4 and 2. The costly medical and household expenses incurred to this family will be overwhelming. The "LEUKEMIA FUND FOR DARLENE CLARKE" has been established at Fleet Bank, 643 Farmington Ave., New Britian, Ct. 06053. If you could find in your heart to contribute to this fund this family would be very thankful…God Bless You.

Gary and Diane Jones
